Cholmondeley Pageant of Power Concours
This years Cholmondeley Pageant of Power Concours turned out to be a great success. We had 3 prestigious judges, namely Jeremy Wade, Stuart Graham and Steve Berry.
Friday started with Lotus Power which turned out to be a spectacular event with 45 Lotus turning up from all regions of the country. There was a great display from the oldest Mark 1 to the present day, and the prizes were awarded by Clive Chapman (son of Colin and founder of Classic Team Lotus).
Saturday introduced great American Muscle Power Cars which included the famous 1967 Mustang, a beautifully displayed 1958 Buick Riveira and a unique 1958 Chrysler 300D.
Sunday saw the 1980's Poster Cars arrive, including an eye-catching Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari Testarossa and Lotus Esprit. These cars looked spectacular against the backcloth of Cholmondeley Castle, and the 1983 Lamborghini LP500S won the overall Concours event for the weekend.
Finally big congratulations to Gary Thomas who claimed Fastest Time of the Day and our very own Damon Milnes who won Bentley's Coupe d'Honneur regularity performance award in Robin Darlington's Chevron B48 V8 single seater.
